For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

I’ve always been a big Moon Harvest fan. And when Stardev Valley appeared in 2016, I was received immediately.

A love experience, clearly inspired by the best parts of HM and the idealized dream of leaving a job to run a farm in the country for nine to five years was and remains one of the best things that has happened at the games in the past ten years.

But after three years of playing I got used to the elves, the sounds and the daily grinding of the farm.

Yeah, even the constant updates couldn’t stop my life in the country from becoming routine.

Fortunately, a thriving modding community has developed around the game, transforming one person’s personal project into a crowd, a living, breathing work of art.

To celebrate the many hours we’ve all spent playing the game and to help new players find the perfect mods to make their own perfect version of Stardew Valley, I’ve put together what I believe are the best mods.

Let’s start farming.

40. Love letters

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Although there are some really interesting and charming suitors in the Stardew Valley, both men and women, I always felt there was much more to know.

NexusMods’ Pencil Rod mud naturally agrees, and their way of improving this important aspect of the rural life simulator has been to have your loved one send emails all year round.

They can contain gifts, clues about how to trigger events in your heart, and they can even investigate you after those events.

It’s just cold not to write after a romantic night, isn’t it?

39. Happy Birthday

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Birthdays are a very important part of everyday life in the Pelican Town community, so at any time of year they are posted on the town’s bulletin board and celebrated with gifts.

Anyway, since you’re enlivening the city a little, it’s very rude to completely ignore yours.

Now, thanks to the Happy Birthday module, it is placed on the message board like all the others. And no one will (perhaps) ever forget.

Expect tons of gifts from parents and villagers, and if you want – even a party!

38. Winter grass

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

So you want the winter season to be like this, but you don’t want all your hard-earned haystores to dry out so quickly? I only have one fashionista for that.

Thanks to the author CatCattyCat, the grass now knows the coming winter instead of withering and dying.

This is great for those of us who go to the ranch too often and for a lifeguard in case you accidentally forget to buy hay on the last day of autumn.

Don’t forget that fashion doesn’t allow grass to grow in winter, because that would probably be too much of a good thing.

37. No demolition of the fence

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

From CatCattyCat comes No Fence Decay, a fashion conscious guy whose name says it all.

I’ve always found it both annoying and, frankly, unique that fences made of good wood and even stone can collapse so far in a few months.

With this change this will not happen again, because the decay will be switched off in the course of time.

This way is the key if you are one of those people who want to fence everything for aesthetic reasons, for example by checking the equivalent of the Great Wall of China in Stardew Valley daily to see if there are holes that need to be closed and not for fun.

36. Simple harvest label

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Stardew Valley lacks some small improvements in the quality of life that would simplify many aspects of the game and save you from having Google all you want.

I understand that this is about the feeling of playing one of the old Lunar Harvest games, but to be honest, some of these things just don’t make sense in 2020.

With this TheMusketeer module, you can add a simple clue when you point the cursor at a plant that identifies it, even if it’s just seeds on the ground.

No more waiting for it to bear fruit to remember what you planted!

35. Improved water quality

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

No game with a pond of any kind will be truly complete in the eyes of a muddy or muddy lover without more realistic water.

What’s that? Is the game particularly pixellated and does it have a rough vintage aesthetic? Rats!

When playing with vanilla, the water may seem unusually clean and rather shallow.

This cousin modality improves visibility of rivers, lakes and the sea, dims the water several times and increases its turbidity.

Yeah, you’re not allowed to see the bottom, but wait till you see the river in winter. Wonderful!

34. Simple fishing V2.0

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

What’s better than going fishing?

If you are one of those who find the Stardew Valley’s fishing system too slow and cumbersome to enjoy, this Mmanlapat mode may be of interest.

It reduces the movement of the green beam when fish fight to get off the hook, making it much easier for people to catch them at sea.

Although there are many expansions in the field of fishing, this is exactly what you are looking for if you just want a simple fishing experience.

33. Cave Skullift

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

The presence of an elevator seems to be an integral part of exploring a dungeon or mine in the Starduv Valley, especially one as far from the house as the cranial cavity.

I understand that I probably didn’t add it because of the diving and the difficulty, but once you play a game or a cave, it soon doesn’t make sense.

This simple Bifibi mode, called Bifibi, is a long and necessary solution that provides a lift near the entrance and each stairway.

It works the same way as the mines, updates all five floors and looks exactly the same by reorganising the sprites.

32. Friends forever

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

If you lose contact with a boyfriend or girlfriend for a month or two, are you irrevocably divorced? Do they forget you and the time you share? The cuffs that tie you?

I don’t think so.

Then why does everything have to be different in Stardeve Valley?

In this context, rural areas such as Pelican Town should make much less unstable friendships.

Thanks to IsaacSDev, you can now put an end to the degradation of friendship over time.

Of course you always lose your friendship points if you get caught digging garbage cans, etc., but at least you don’t have to worry about meeting every villager at least once a week.

31. Find something.

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Of course you can install the Stardew Valley Companion application on your mobile phone or just visit the SV Wiki when you want to learn something, but frankly, it takes away your interest and can often give the impression that the game takes too long.

With Mud Pathoschild’s Lookup Anything you can now learn everything about any subject or object in the world, including villagers, by pointing the cursor at them and pressing the F1 key.

On the information pages you will find everything from retail prices to whether you need a research paper or a set of community centres. Pleasant and comfortable!

30. No more bowling

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

The people of Pelican Town don’t really pay attention to the holes, do they?

Personally I think it looks good, but I understand very well why someone has to feel in a constant yoga position.

The tear is at least as thick as any leg!

Thanks to the maker of the chrysanthemum, the villagers of Stardew Valley can finally get up and recover from the fatigue of their hamstrings.

It is a small deviation from the typical OAS-style, but I have to admit that sometimes it is more beautiful.

29. Peak cleaning 2.0

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Sometimes, even in the original games, harvesting the moon from a braid seems to be some kind of trick, or just a boring product.

Mud Mmanlapat has ingeniously solved this problem by transforming the braid into a universal harvester that makes it possible to harvest all types of crops easier and faster than conventional manual machines.

As a bonus, you will also receive XP in agriculture, so you won’t lose anything by installing this mod.

28. CJB Trinkets Menu

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

If you’re a Youtube maker or just someone who wants to have ridiculous fun, you need cheaters.

The game is just as much about patience and hard work as the Valley of Stars!

This way of doing the fertile CJBOK moderator is quite simple: It adds a menu that allows you to generate items, provide endless health and stamina, speed up time or just freeze while performing a task.

A game like Stardew Valley will certainly spoil your experience, but it has its advantages and is easier to handle than, for example, console teams on Skyrim.

27. Best watering systems

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

You may think that sprinkler systems are good enough, but what’s in vogue, apart from fixing things that aren’t necessarily broken?

This is what the OrSpeeder rotor does best: You can adjust the shape of the squares that are sprayed and slowly improve the sprayers by spending resources on them.

This mod also shows you the area covered with sprinklers and scarecrows when installed. This feature is useful enough to justify your own mod, and you get both for the price of one (i.e. a few minutes of your time).

26. Portrait of an anime villager

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

As various surveys and reddish discussions show, there is a considerable overlap between the populations of gamers and anime bikers.

Stardew Valley is also a magnet for street hunters and gangsters around the world, mainly because of the attention paid to the characters and the relationship with them.

The creator Bunnihime understood this very well, so he developed several mods to replace NPC portraits with anime style versions, which are generally much more attractive than those of ConcernedApe.

This applies to all citizens in Pelican Town and elsewhere who have not responded.

25. Variant of anise portraits

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Of course there is also a more advanced version of Anime Portraits that focuses on married candidates to help you fall in love with someone you have chosen to spend your digital life a little easier.

For most characters there are also several options that allow you to customize small things like colors or accessories to your liking.

Keep in mind that once you’ve set this trend… …your interests will be somewhat compensated.

I wouldn’t look at Hayley in a vanilla match, but this way… Let’s say maybe I should build a darkroom on the farm.

24. Best investment

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Depending on how many Lunar Harvest games you played before you discovered Stardeve Valley, the ranch can seem incredibly easy or boringly difficult.

This urbanyeti model focuses more on the latter, but generally represents an improvement of the ranch system by adding an indicator that shows which animals need love, milking or haircut.

It also prevents attempts to achieve all these objectives from failing.

23. Managing directors

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

While various modifications allow you to deform or create items in your inventory, there is little to stop you from actively adapting your environment.

With the Farm Type Manager you can create different objects such as rocks or trees and customize the characteristics of the different types of farms to suit your playing style and preferences.

It’s a tool you need to build the farm of your dreams, and you don’t even have to upgrade it at Clint.

In addition, this change is necessary for several sets of content available on Nexus. So you’ll win a lot if you install it as soon as you start muddling.

22. Automation

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

One of the most creative mods for hardworking players is Pathoschild’s Automaton, which allows you to create automatic production lines consisting of machines and crates.

It works in such a way that the machines remove basic parts such as raw ore or grain from the hopper and then return the product to the hopper before the cycle starts again.

It’s a bit like the complicated red stone cars in Minecraft, and in my book it’s good.

Not only will you feel like you’re playing Factorio, but you’ll also save a lot of time.

21. CJB Sales price display

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

This mod from CJBOK is one of those mods where you read the name and already know what you need to know.

It makes your life easier and saves you the trouble of going to the general store by adding a note that tells you the price of each of your items when you point with the cursor.

One of the best features compared to other similar options is that it not only reflects the unit price of each item, but also the total price of a stack.

20. IU-Info Suite

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Frankly, ConcernedApe was very conservative in exchanging information with the player.

It’s all part of the experience of being separated, having to go to the city to listen to the news, and being exposed to an uncertain world.

Well, until you’ve installed this mod.

Cdaragorn’s UI info suite opens the doors of knowledge and lets you discover how happy you are every day. You can call up the help of the desired searches directly from your menu and the EXP takeover for each completed task.

It also contains other useful information, such as whether the animals need attention and how much crop they need to grow after planting.

19. New card combination only

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

There are many SV recorders in Nexus, but there is no reason not to choose the best one.

The map can be visually reconstructed in a new colour each season by adding different types of trees in different colours. The grass also changes colour during the year and there are many more details.

One of my favorite aspects of this module is that Eemie’s designer includes different versions of the fashion, ranging from a slightly modified look to a complete redesign, where you can determine the intensity of the change yourself.

18. Repairs to daily fishing

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

We’ve already considered making changes to make fishing easier, but what if you want to make it a more visible aspect of the game? What if you want to be the best fisherman you’ve ever been?

Thanks to the NexusMods TehPers user you can now!

This complete overhaul of the catching system is aimed at an ideal catch. Do this several times in a row and the quality of your fish will improve with each catch, up to the iridium level!

And don’t worry, the fish are a little easier to catch, so you don’t have to be a fishninja to get a perfect catch!

17. Hawaiian hats

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

If I like most hats sold in a small hut in the south of the forest, others are frankly unsuitable to wear. What exactly is a New Year’s party?

This Yukami fashion replaces most of them with cute and slightly animated hats.

The earmuffs are now cat ears, the cowboy hat has been replaced by a bear mask, and there is even a horse mask somewhere!

16. No more hairstyling

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

However, hats will be a thing of the past when you see our next entry.

Despite the fact that adaptation possibilities have grown considerably over the years, there is never enough hair for character lovers!

I mean, you’re gonna be watching your character for a long, long time, so why not make the best of it?

Thanks to Pencistab’s developer, you have many more hair styling options for your farmer, and some of the vanilla hairstyles have also been improved to make them more visible.

Hair that is too complicated and curly may not be the most exciting thing for a hardworking person like you, but if you can handle it, there is no excuse for not looking good.

15. CJB Spawning Point

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

I don’t recommend buying caviar for beginners, because that’s enough to ruin the experience completely, but advanced farmers and content makers certainly need it in their fashion arsenal.

This mode allows you to purchase any quantity of any quality product in a few clicks via the easy-to-navigate interface.

Ideal for experiments and other creative games!

14. Safes everywhere

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Inventory management is the most important task in all kinds of role-playing and farm games, so it’s not surprising that it plays such an important role in Stardew Valley.

However, it starts to age after you have played the game a number of times and want to spend a more orderly time with it.

With Pathoschild’s Chests Anywhere you don’t have to worry, as long as you have free space somewhere in the world.

The lockers, Junimo cabins and even a refrigerator are easily accessible from anywhere on the map by simply accessing your inventory. You can also send your items from this menu!

In general, it is a very organic and comfortable fashion for those of us who have little free time.

13. Gift Taste Magician

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

You have to painstakingly Google the gifts that everyone loves in a game like Stardew Valley or his inspiration, Harvest Moon, is what we all accept as a fact of life.

However, there are a few things that confuse your caller in this game, such as the need to pause to take the phone out to check the application or the corresponding wiki.

Thanks to Mud Tstaples, you’ll never have to do that again. Point the cursor to a person’s sprite or place the cursor on the social tab to find out what that person wants.

There is even a progress mode where you have to fill in the gaps by trying different gifts.

The game must be what it was meant to be from the beginning, and this change is mandatory.

12. Best handmade icons

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

I have always done my best to understand what makes it so difficult to make craft products such as jelly or juice that look different depending on their composition.

It’s boring to move the mouse pointer over everything to find out exactly what’s going on inside!

With this CatCattyCat mode, this little problem is a thing of the past. Arts and Crafts now has colorful and varied icons that even include small images of the basic ingredients in the top left corner for easy viewing.

There is no excuse not to install this mode immediately.

11. Bathroom after 2nd Home Renovation

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Why don’t you have a toilet in your house? At this point: Why is there no one in town?

If you also find that the communal baths are the only baths in the Stardew Valley that have a plunge pool, then this mode of DevilBro is just what you need.

10. Kisekae

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

It can be a bit scary for some of us to come looking for a game, which may take a few months depending on your planning.

With this fashion of KabigonFirst you can change your look at any time with the help of a dresser on the farm or by going to the temple of the wizard.

Whether you do it once a season or every day, is all yours.

Getting a mod that adds extra settings is the key to maximizing your enjoyment.

9. Experienced personnel

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

No, this isn’t a fad about the revival of bohemian craft beer in Pelican Town.

SpaceChase0’s experience bars simply add bands to the interface that indicate your experience level for each skill, so you can see and plan your progress without having to wait until the end of the day.

This is very useful if you are trying to align certain things as efficiently as possible, whether it is to get a building recipe as soon as possible or for some other reason.

8. NPC card slot

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Another painfully necessary but deliberately missed functionality in Stardew Valley is a means of determining where each NPC is at any given time.

This mode of Bouhm simply adds small faces that follow each character exactly where they are on the map.

The mode also slightly changes the vanilla map to get a more accurate view of the landscape.

Even if you are not very interested in locating your NPC, adding a mini card to the interface will certainly make your life easier.

7. Seasonal Victorian buildings and flowers

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

One of my favorites on this list is the Anglo-Victorian view of the buildings and flora of the Stardeve Valley.

It not only makes Pelican Town the setting for Charles Dickens’ novel, but it also changes with the season of the game, offering an immersion in an experience that makes the passage of time clear and visually meaningful.

It’s a little complicated, but it’s worth every minute.

6. Seasonal combinations in rural areas

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

And if you want to double that seasonal friendliness, consider buying a brand new outfit for every season at Pelican Town for all newcomers and dropouts.

Anything that gives more influence on the changing of the seasons is a great fashion in my book, and it even gives the villagers clothes for rainy days.

Finally, your loved ones won’t freeze in winter and catch the flu in the rain!

Plus, Emily looks great in all her little pixelated outfits.

5. Tractor mode

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

The most popular and ubiquitous fashion is adding a tractor to take your farm back to the 1900s.

After the installation, go to Robin’s workshop and ask him to build a tractor garage.

When that’s done, you’ll find this very useful vehicle ready to use. All you have to do is load the tools and watch the surrounding tiles being cleaned, ploughed and sprayed in seconds.

Every YouTube has it and you should have it!

4. Children come after spouse

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Isn’t it annoying how little variation there is on the children of the Valley of Hunger?

Previously, the problem was with Harvest Moon, where your child was always the same, regardless of your partner.

Just as HM changed it some time ago, this fashion is for Stardew Valley.

From now on, every child will look very different from one husband to another, which will affect his or her clothing, hats and body characteristics.

There is also some customization, depending on the files you install!

3. Carmilla dive cards

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

The more we move forward in the list, the more each mod has an impact on the overall atmosphere of the game.

Karmylla’s compelling maps are one of those modes that give you a whole new experience when you’re already tired after the many losses of the old pelican town.

He changes some places and adds others, such as Shane’s barn, Mara’s basement and a darkroom for Hayley.

It even adds events in each of the new areas, with more than 150 lines of dialogue for the two events described and the usual jokes for the villagers.

2. Anime Stardew Valley mode

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

Waifu/Bando lovers will be delighted, as the most aesthetic character portraits in the anime style – in one click.

This fashion by the creator of Ohodavi will replace the boring portraits of old vanilla figures with beautifully updated faces worthy of the Kyoto animated series.

For me it’s one of the first mods that someone has to install, and I never play the game without it.

1. Starry Sky Valley Extension

For Stardew Valley Players, 40 Best Mods

Highlight this mode.

The most amazing modes are usually those that take the game of vanilla as a basis for building, exploring and creating something new, rich in content and different experiences.

The FlashShifter Moderator has worked hard for a long time to add new zones, quests, NPCs and stories to this agricultural simulator, and that’s a lot.

Fashion can also be used to improve things that once existed, such as moving the Adventurers Guild into town and giving it a suitable place to live instead of a messed-up old cabin in a forgotten corner of the world.

Memorable celebrations, an improved map of the farm, more than 100 new events for the characters. It’s too much to cover in such a small space.

What’s the best part?

It seems that the is in perfect harmony with the , as if the game should be as it should be.

A really great experience that looks more like a special edition than a modest fashionista.
