#10 | Sushi Gow Party!

The Sushi Go Party has just made the list of the best party games. It’s about doing things with the characters, scoring points and moving the marker in a game that is not traditionally associated with a board game, but is ideal for a group of up to 8 people. It is a very simple, clear and concise game that offers room for laughter and jokes. The name also contains the word party.

This game consists of playing with your dinner, and there are all kinds of charming sushi cards (tempura, dumplings, etc.) to help you with that. In more than 3 rounds, players draw one card at a time to complete the series. Each card has its own specificity (e.g. collect 4 points and get 12 points), and it is up to you to strategically investigate what is happening around you and choose the right card. In between rounds, points are collected and new cards are issued. For 2 to 8 players the game takes about 20 minutes.

#09 | Times Up!

Times Up makes a list of the best board games because it is a round town. There is nothing special here, it could be a category, a taboo, a dictionary, really, that guarantees a good time and makes you active, makes you talk and think. Times Up from another century (1999), but it is a warm classic of the party game from the 90s.

This is a game of charades for teams of two or more players. Before the start of the game, each player looks at different cards with famous historical or fictional characters and chooses a few of them. Each player’s cards are shuffled to form a deck, and this deck of famous names is used for each of the three rounds of the game. In each round, the team members take turns trying to get their teammates to guess as many names as possible in 30 seconds.

#08 | Decryption

Team games have something that makes for a great party, and Decrypto is no different. It is a matter of both cooperation and competition. It’s funny, because he uses communication and logic in such a delicate way. If she seems to be onto you, she’s on the list of the best board games to watch.

In Decrypto the players compete in two teams, each of which tries to correctly interpret the coded messages sent to them by their teammates and to decipher the codes they intercept from the opponent. Each team has its own screen, and on this screen they place four cards with the numbers 1 to 4 in their pocket, so that all members of a team can see the words on these cards while hiding the words of the opponent. With 3 to 8 players, the game lasts 15 to 45 minutes.

#07 | TV Tests

Telstration makes a list of the best festive board games because it combines much of the classic mechanics of festive games that we all know and love. Drawing evidence, racing against time, recycling and distorted communication – this game has it all. It’s like Pictionary is picking up the phone and after more than ten years it’s still on the market.

Each player starts with a sketch of a word dictated by a roll of the dice. They are all set to a sand timer and have a short period of time to complete them. At the same time, all players pass on their sketch to the next player, who has to guess what has been stretched. At the same time, players pass on their guess – which hopefully corresponds to the original word – to the next player, who must try to draw the word he sees – and so on.

The Empire must fall. Your mission must be successful. By destroying their main bases, you will destroy the Imperial power and free your people. However, spies have infiltrated your ranks, ready to be sabotaged. You have to expose them. In five nights you will change your fate or die trying. #05 | Dixit

Dixit makes a list of the best board games because it masterfully applies a secret mechanism of submission and judgment (apples on apples, cards against humanity to remember), ideal for the holidays. Here they take turns to have one person as common judge, and each one secretly represents something for them, from which the winner is chosen. In Dixit this is done with photos and amateur stories,

You play the game with six cards with different interesting images in your hand. A player in turn is the storyteller and must use the card with his hand and give him a few words to summarize. The other players must show one of their cards, which they consider to be the same. They get confused and everyone votes for the card they think belongs to the whistleblower. It is interesting to collect points, and the one who mainly gives a clue means something that not everyone or nobody can say. With 3 to 6 players the game takes about 30 minutes.

#03 | Hitler secret

Don’t be fooled by the name, Hitler’s secret is a loud laugh and a thoughtful hobby. They are all secretly divided into evil red communists or blue liberals, and one person is Hitler. Red wants their laws a thing of the past and the Liberals a thing of the past. Each president’s turn comes in a circle, and they’re called Chancellor. The law is drawn up by the press, who cancels one and the chancellor, who also cancels one and shows the other to the other. The fact is that you can start using the cards that pass when different people are in power to collect clues about who the red bad guy is. Then call her up. #02 | A

Everyone is working together on this change. Just make a list of the best board games for the party, playing together to discover as many mysterious words as possible in a fun and dynamic atmosphere for each group. Nice verbal game with a touch of humor. Only one has won the coveted Spiel the Jajres award, so you know it’s a good choice.

There’s a suspicion running around in circles. You show the other players a card with five choices and name the number that indicates the word. All other players now write a note on their board to help the pitcher. Before they appear, all players compare, and if multiple players give the same clue, they eliminate them. If you guess right, everyone gets 1 point, if you guess wrong, everyone loses 2 points, and if you succeed, only 1 point. They want to go to 13. The trick is to give clues that cannot be turned off. With 3 to 7 players, the game takes about 20 minutes.

You can argue with us all you want, but they’re probably code names: Pictures are the best choice for the first place on the list of festive board games. Not at all. It’s a fantastic game everyone loves and we can only recommend it (especially the pictures of the version). This is a game for two teams, where the goal is to give clues based on many factors of change. If you just want to buy a game for your farm, do it.

It’s about who can get his spy agents off the battlefield first. In the middle there is always a grid of 5×4 cards with interesting images, like a monkey in a space helmet hiding the location of each team’s spies. Each round, one representative per team, gets a decoder card with the locations, and they have to give their team a note to find them. The key is to give clues that relate to a large number of your cards without being associated with any of your opponents. For players older than 4 years, each round takes about 15 minutes.
